How does the filter for hard water shower work?

The Lexino Shower & Tap Filter uses an advanced multi-stage filtration system to help reduce chlorine and minimize the effects of hard water minerals commonly found in Indian water.

As water flows through the filter cartridge, it passes through multiple filtration layers that help:

Will it fit my shower or tap?

It fits most standard ½ inch shower connections. For some taps, an adapter may be required.

How long does the filter last?

The cartridge can filter up to 50,000 liters and typically lasts up to 6 months, depending on water quality.

When will I start noticing a difference?

Most users notice an immediate improvement in how water feels and how soap or shampoo lathers.

Visible improvements in skin smoothness and hair texture typically become noticeable within 4–6 weeks of regular use, depending on your water quality.

Why doesn’t filter reduce TDS?

TDS simply measures the amount of dissolved substances in water — it does not determine whether those minerals are harmful or beneficial.

The Lexino Shower & Tap Filter does not reduce TDS. Instead, it helps reduce chlorine and minimize the harsh effects of hard water minerals so they are less likely to leave residue on your skin, hair, or bathroom surfaces.

This means your water composition remains unchanged, but its impact feels gentler and more comfortable during use.
